Heavitree Hawks 1 Central Utd 1
United were unlucky to go one down before half-time, as they were slightly on top.
Substitutions made a difference at half-time and United were all
over the Hawks. Joseph Glenny got the equaliser and for the last 10 minutes it was all United. Thomas
O'Donnell and George O'Brien worked very hard, and Frank Trimble had two very near misses but it
was not to be.
Highlights were the defending at corners and our positioning along
the line at our throw-ins.

Heavitree Eagles 4 Central Utd 0
Against a strong Eagles team, United started well and it was 0-0 at
half-time, with no difference between the teams. Will Wenley again played well in goal
and was very safe with strong kicking out.
After halftime, United tired considerably and despite
substitutions, the defence found themselves under pressure, although Will Gregory battled
manfully. Alex Pinskey made some kamikaze tackles which impressed the stand-in coach
(Michael Trimble) and the referee.
Despite letting in four goals in the second half, heads didn't drop
and the huddle after the match was as enthusiastic as the one beforehand.
The team had great fun and both matches were excellent.

Heavitree Eagles 1 Central City 2
Great game and very close. Eagles scored first, but City equalised
within 60 seconds through Nathan Townsend. Things remained tense throughout with the
City defence of Jamie Hammond and Joseph Heggadon with William Caschere in goal,
doing wonders to keep the Eagles out.
Harry Roome and Toby Criss then came on to give the
attack a new lease of life. Our breakthrough came with tremendous work from our midfield
of Nathan and Freddie James moving forward and Harvey Young capitalising and scoring the
winner. City held on despite strong attacks from the Eagles.
A thrilling game to watch and could have gone either way.

United battled well and there were a few promising
moments when the boys started to put passes together.
However, Central could not stem the
tide of skilfulness and organisation displayed by the Blues.
Despite the scoreline, Callum Davidson distinguished
himself in goal again.
Overall, Central tried their best and
hopefully learnt a lot of good lessons from strong oppositiion, that
they can take back to the training ground.

some good saves to keep the scores level. Just before half time, Central
broke away and after some good passing between Willian Cashere and Nathan
Townsend, Freddie James was picked-out at the far post and took his chance
well to put City one up.
City kept the pressure on and the hard
working Freddie James scored his second direct from a corner, with the
help of a deflection off a defender, to put Central three up.
To their credit Brixington refused to lie down
and rediscovered their form from the first half. They got a goal

Despite a good comeback from
Brixington, Central held on and just about deserved their victory.

Central City 0 - Alphington 1
A strong team performance saw City narrowly lose to a good Alphington
side, who played some excellent football and got their winner from a well taken
goal just after half-time. Finding it tough against good opposition, it was a workmanlike
performance. Chances were few, but the whole Central team competed well and worked hard
for one another. James Bryant showed safe hands in goal and made several good saves
and clearances. In defence, Jamie Hammond and Toby Cris were again solid and a
combination of Nathan Townsend, Freddie James, William Cashere and Memhet Cigden
competed well in midfield. Harvey Young and Joseph Glenny tried hard upfront,
but good defending meant they had little reward for their efforts.

A hard working team performance saw Central compete
well with a good Alphington side who took a 3 - 0 lead by half-time. In the second half
United battled hard and several excellent runs from midfield by Thomas O'Donnell were
unfortunate not to result in a goal. George O'Brien also did well upfront, causing
difficulites for a well organised Alphington defence. William Gregory, Joseph Heggadon
and Finlay Gregory in defence, stuck well to their task and made it hard work for
Alphington, particularly in the second half. The defence was supported well by both
Will Wenley and Callum Davison who shared the goalkeeping duties. Overall a good team
effort and United were unlucky not to get on the score sheet.

Pinhoe Spartan Pikes 4 - Central City 1
Central United started well in the first half, holding
their own defensively and nullifying the Pinhoe attack. As the game progressed,
the Pinhoe attack started to take hold and only some excellent saves from Will
Wenley in goal kept the score down. The hard working performances of William
Gregory and Finlay Gregory in defence were commendable.
The whole team worked hard, but a strong Pinhoe side scored
some well worked goals and one screamer from the corner of the field. George O’Brien
worked hard on his own up front and did win a penalty, but the Pinhoe goalkeeper made a good save.

Weather conditions worsened and for a long period in the

resurgence and once again Thomas O'Donnell in midfield led by example. Frank
Trimble had some good runs on goal, but together with Arthur Burrow their hard
work could not be converted into a goal. Finlay Gregory and Joshua Morris
