Managers Notes at the start of the 07/08 Season
It's the start of season 2008/2009 and already the first
game has been postponed because of the weather lets hope we manage to play
more scheduled games on Saturdays than rearranged games in mid week!
This is probably our last season in the league unless there are enough teams
to form an Under 17s so hopefully this year we will do well. Joe
VanDoorslaer and Owen Carter decided to hang up their boots and we have
welcomed 4 new players to the squad Aaron Saunders, Jonnie Clark, Charlie
Caddy and Aaron Hudson. These signings will strengthen the team in defence,
midfield and attack so I am pleased with the squad we take into the new
season. Moving from League 2 last season to an all in one League this season
will be more challenging to say the least but I'm looking forward to it we
have a great team spirit everybody is enjoying their football and hopefully
we will have a successful season.
